2. Garmin & Navigation Equipment
Garmin GPS units, satellite phones, and tracking devices are critical tools for expedition safety and content accuracy.
- Garmin GPS units should be calibrated before each trip and logged for reference.
- Satellite phones are for emergency communication and official updates only.
- Tracking devices used in drones or cameras must comply with local and international regulations.
Proper handling, charging, and storage of Garmin and similar devices is required to ensure reliability during content creation.
3. Technical Equipment
Technical devices such as avalanche receivers, altimeters, weather monitoring instruments, and other safety equipment are essential for expedition operations.
- All technical devices must be inspected and tested before use.
